Experience the exquisite harmonizing of OLIVIA FOX, the seasoned folk/pop trio of Lauren Flynn, Tiffany Smith and Aubrey Dykeman, three of Kansas City’s most talented female artists, when they perform in Helzberg Hall for members of the Kauffman Center on Nov. 21. Each year, the Kauffman Center hosts two free concerts and after-show receptions as a thank for its members.
Music critic and KCUR contributor Bill Brownlee said OLIVIA FOX is “one of the most fully realized musical acts in Kansas City. The polished group is radio-ready and eminently marketable.”
Aubrey, Tiffany and Lauren bonded over their own personal heartaches and struggles life had thrown their way. They realized women are warriors, fighting their own unique and specific battles, which unites them. The three ladies wanted to be inclusive and empower women through their music. The creation of the name OLIVIA FOX was inspired by a list of names of female warriors.
Following the performance, members will enjoy complimentary holiday-inspired desserts, drinks and a hot cocoa bar during the reception in Brandmeyer Great Hall. The OLIVIA FOX artists will join members at the reception, and the outside of the Kauffman Center will be lit up to kick off the holidays.
